RECEPTION RECOMMENDATIONS

MORNING WALK

Even if you’re not really a morning person, there’s nothing quite like taking a walk through our beautiful estate first thing to set you up for the day ahead and remind you why this estate is so special. There’s a range of walks to choose from but, for an early morning amble, nothing beats the Beinn a’Bheithir (the mountain of the thunderbolt) walk, which takes you over moorland and through woodland. Breathe in that crisp, pure Glencoe air, listen to the birdsong, watch the sun rise, take in the inspiring views and spot local wildlife… just make sure you’re wearing sturdy, waterproof footwear: we can certainly promise you beauty and tranquility but we can’t guarantee dry footpaths.

THE PERFECT WILDERNESS TONIC

Ask our Reception team to create your picnic lunch and venture out into our stunning estate for an unforgettable picnic. Choose your own ingredients from our hearty and homely menu. You can even add in Prosecco to sip in the Summer Sun and don’t worry about finding a nice, tranquil spot with breathtaking views – we’ve got that covered.

SEGWAY TOUR

At Glencoe Activities you’ll discover a treasure trove of boredom-busting activities on offer, like exploring the estate on a Segway. If it’s thrills you’re looking for, let us know and we can arrange a Segway course for you and your other half.
